Risdale confident of Cardiff potentialNew Cardiff City boss Peter Risdale says the club will by free of all debts within 12 months.
He said: "We will end up within 12 months being a debt-free business and having a new stadium.
"This is a massive club with even more potential.
"I’m acutely aware of the tremendous responsibility that I now inherit."
Leeds fans still blame Ridsdale for the 2003 financial crisis which led to them being relegated from the Premiership.
