Leeds staff on security alertWhen their former chairman Peter Ridsdale makes his first return to Elland Road next month, Leeds United will have to hire extra security staff.
Many Leeds fans still blame Ridsdale for the financial meltdown suffered by the Yorkshire club.
Ridsdale is now deputy chairman at Cardiff and had been advised to stay away for the December 10 clash at Elland Road.
However, Ridsdale insisted: "However much people criticise, the fact is we put together a team that could compete with the best. No matter what people say, those memories cannot be taken away."
Ridsdale quit in March 2003 after Leeds' debts rocketed to more than £100million.
