City chairman turns into text pestCardiff City Chariman Sam Hammam has turned into a text pest in a bid to bolster the clubs crowds.
The cash-strapped club only attracted 9,196 for their Championship clash with Leicester on Tuesday.
So chairman Hammam has sent out 5,000 text messages to fans, asking them to attend today’s game with Crystal Palace.
He said: "We’re worried about the crowds.
"We’ve shown ambition with the players we’ve brought in and the fans must show their support.
"We’ve budgeted for 13,000 crowds. If we continue below that, it’ll be a disaster for the club."
