Tottenham star starts with a bang

Speedy striker Jermaine Defoe scored a fine goal in Tottenham’s 2-1 victory of Ligue 1 side Bordeaux yesterday.

Defoe, who was left behind by Sven Goran Eriksson during the World Cup got straight back to business and seemed to link up well with new signing Dimitar Berbatov.
