Bolton target Bordeaux starBolton Wanderers are one of a host of clubs keeping tabs on highly-rated Bordeaux star Rio Mavuba.
Mavuba is becoming frustrated with Les Girondins' failure to reach Europe themselves and Bolton spies were joined by representatives from Internazionale, Besiktas and Racing Santander at Stade Chaban-Delmas last Saturday.
He told France Football: "I want to play for the top spot in the table,
"We have everything here to achieve that. The group of the four best teams, to compete with them.
"As with the other players, I want to have those ambitions.
"I feel like a Bordeaux player, but I would like the club to build a team to achieve something and not only reach the mid-table."
