Riquelme could stayArgentinean playmaker Juan Roman Riquelme could be set to stay with Boca Juniors after the club confirmed their interest in making his loan spell from Spanish club Villareal a permanent switch.
"If it's possible, we will explore the possibility of extending the period that he stays.” said Boca vice-president Pedro Pompilio.
"If Roman understands the financial situation, we will try to retain him so that he continues his career here."
