Hughes hails striker RobertsBlackburn Rovers manager Mark Hughes has praised forward Jason Roberts following his performance against Charlton on the weekend.
"Jason looks in great nick at the moment," said Hughes.
"It took a little bit longer than I thought for him to get back to a high level.
"He was out for three or four months and we missed seeing that explosive part of his game.
"But now you can see it - he has power, he has pace. He is very difficult to shake off the ball."
On the 4-1 result, Hughes added: "It was a comprehensive victory. We created a number of good chances in the first half but we did not take any advantage of them,"
"We gave Charlton a lifeline in the second half but I thought the last period of the game would be crucial, given they were a man down.
"I thought there would be gaps we could exploit and that's what happened."
