Birmingham star still confidentBirmingham City hit-man DJ Campbell thinks the club can have a good season and is hoping to get off to a good start on the opening day against Chelsea.
"It's going to be a tough one (against Chelsea)," said Campbell.
"You would have preferred a lesser team at home to get kicked off with.
"As long as we have a good pre-season and take it into the new season I'm sure we'll have a good shout.
"Sunderland and Derby coming up are still very good teams, so there are no easy games.
"If we can get a running start then who knows, but we're going to take it one game at a time.
"Coming up to this division you look forward to these games and to play against these players, so it's going to be fantastic for the club.
"Everyone's excited. It's a great achievement for the club and long may we stay there.
"The gaffer is probably going to strengthen. It's going to be much harder than last year. I'm sure he's going to get a few players in."
