Former Spurs boss back in actionJacques Santini has returned to management football as the new boss of French outfit Auxerre.
The Ligue 1 club's vice-president Gerard Bourgoin announced tonight that the 53-year-old former France head coach will replace Guy Roux.
Roux stepped down after Auxerre won the French Cup at the weekend, bringing to an end a 44-year spell in charge at the club.
The Former Spurs boss said: "I am happy to succeed a monument of football like Guy Roux,
Santini was appointed at Tottenham last summer but quit White Hart Lane, citing personal reasons, in November, to be replaced by Martin Jol.
