Newcastle, Arsenal target agrees to moveLigue 1 club Marseille have won the race to sign Hatem Ben Arfa from Lyon despite interest from several big European clubs.
A statement on Marseille's official website read: "An agreement has been reached between Olympique Lyonnais and l'OM for the permanent transfer of Hatem Ben Arfa,"
"The player will be in Marseille in the next few hours to undergo the traditional medical checks before signing the contract."
