Wigan to talk to LiverpoolWigan Athletic is poised to make an offer for former England international Chris Kirkland.
Kirkland, who is currently fourth choice at the Reds behind Jose Reina, Jerzy Dudek and Scott Carson wants to move to improve his chances of getting back into the England set up.
His agent said: “Chris is flying again after recovering his fitness. He wants to be playing at the highest level to help him return to the England squad.”
