Who will lead the line for Everton? If he is forced to watch Sunday’s Merseyside derby from the subs bench, Everton striker Marcus Bent admits he will be hurting.
The Everton striker is expected to make way for £6million buy James Beattie who has completed a three-match ban for head-butting Chelsea’s William Gallas.
Bent said: “He is a big-money signing and is established because he has scored a lot of goals in the Premiership for Southampton.
“I was hurt when I was dropped before. You are going to be upset because you want to be playing.
“But I am big enough and ugly enough to go on from this and work hard for my chance long term.”
