Villa defender sidelinedDanish stopper Martin Laursen will miss the next two weeks of action for his club Aston Villa after he injured his hamstring against Fulham last weekend.
He said: "It's only a minor problem, so it's not too bad," he said. "I should be back in two weeks.
"I've been told I have to have a break from training. I've had an ultrasound scan and we went through the full report on Tuesday.
"I've never suffered this type of injury and it's a shame because I felt really sharp before I did it. I thought 'here we go again' and I'm surprised it's not more serious because it felt bad when it happened.
"I felt terrible being injured again because it was my first game back after the knee injury and we've got two massive home games coming up with Arsenal and Liverpool.
"Then there is an international week and I was hoping to play for Denmark in our match against Spain. But I don't feel too bad now because I can already feel it's getting better again."
