Vieri: Viola have big ambitionsAzzuri veteran Christian Vieri has talked of his happiness to have signed a one-year-contract with Fiorentina.
"Florence will give me the right stimulus, the one I was looking for to still feel important," said Vieri.
"I know the club have big ambitions and that plans are clear.
"The coach is a big person, in addition to being well prepared, so when Viola's offer arrived I accepted it immediately."
He added: "I must do a complete fitness preparation because I have not had a good summer for two years due to injuries.
"The supporters here have welcomed me positively.
"I know that in the last days there have been critics, but I have lived in the middle of similar things for many years and I'm confident I'll be able to convince everyone on the pitch."
