Utd Star: Asian fans are crazyManchester United star Darren Fletcher admits the hero worship from Asian fans takes some getting used to.
Back in Japan with the Scotland squad for the Kirin Cup, Fletcher said: "It was a circus with Manchester United here.
"It was like a parade when we got to the airport. Each player went up on a stage and then on to a bus. It was a totally different world and of the fan mail you get, most of it seems to come from the Far East.
"I get ridiculous amounts from Japan, China and Asia. I ask the other lads as well and it's just the same. It's a bit surreal actually. I can't quantify how many letters I get a week, you maybe get a plastic bag's worth or something like that."
