United star set for Boro?Manchester United midfielder Darren Fletcher is thought to be the subject of a loan swoop by Middlesbrough, according to reports in the North East.
The Scottish international is believed to be one of Steve McClaren's possible recruits for the close season following Sir Alex Ferguson's declaration that he is willing to farm out more players next term.
McClaren has reportedly already had talks with United over the 21-year-old's availability and the question now is whether Ferguson will want to allow Fletcher to leave.
