Trezeguet bid rejected

Ligue 1 Champions Lyon have confirmed that they have had a bid for Juventus forward David Trezeguet rejected.

Lyon director of sport Bernard Lacombe said: "We went to Turin with the chairman to talk about David Trezeguet,"

"They said no and I don't think they will change their mind.

"That is true that this boy can help us, because he can play Champions League football, contrary to the other great players, who couldn't be qualified to play it with us."
