Tottenham midfielder keen to returnSpurs midfielder Teemu Tainio is hoping to win his race against time to be fit to play against bottom of the table Sunderland this weekend.
"I want to play, everyone wants to play and it's frustrating to be injured again.
"It was the same injury on Sunday, I hurt it quite badly when I went up for the first corner in the second minute. I tried to carry on but it was too painful and I had to come off.
"It was very disappointing for me but the team won and that's all that matters - we needed those three points and now we are back on course.
"I'm looking to get some training under my belt and we'll see how it goes from there."
