Toffees defender praises new-boyEverton defender David Weir has praised new signing Joleon Lescott.
Weir said: "I thought Joleon did well,"
"It's all new to him; he's playing alongside new players at a new club and it's a difficult time for him. He's settling in well, though.
"We've seen from training with him that he has got all the attributes. He's big, he's strong, he's quick and he wants to be here. It's so far, so good for him."
"I realise there are four people playing for two positions, but everyone is going to have to fight for their place and not just me."
