Spurs striker Keane warns team-matesRepublic of Ireland star Robbie Keane thinks his former Tottenham strike partner Fredi Kanoute poses the biggest threat to their UEFA Cup aspirations when the club face Sevilla in the competition this week.
"It will be good to see Fredi. He's a fantastic player and he's doing very well over there. It will be nice to shake his hand after the game following a Tottenham win!" said Keane.
"He was a good player to play alongside. He's a tall lad, great in the air, but he's good on the floor as well.
"Fredi and Dimitar are great players. Fredi can play on the wing as well, while Dimitar can play right up front or in the hole.
"The similarity is they're both fantastic players. He's the top scorer in Spain and that speaks for itself. He's playing better than ever and it's a tough league as we all know.
"To be the highest scorer among all those top players over there shows he's one we have to keep an eye on."
Keane added: "I think it's unfair to say he didn't make it over here. He did very well at Spurs and was appreciated by the fans and the players,"
"Maybe when he left he wasn't playing as many games as he would have wanted."
