Spanish star out for seven monthsValencia said on Sunday that defender Curro Torres will be out for up to seven months after having surgery on his right knee in an effort to solve a long-running cartilage problem.
The 28-year-old right back damaged his cartilage in September and despite having an operation in January, has been troubled by knee pain ever since.
Torres will miss his side's last game of the current campaign against Osasuna, and up to four months of next season.
