Southgate dismisses reportsMiddlesbrough manager Gareth Southgate has denied reports that Massimo Maccarone could exit the club during the upcoming transfer window.
He said: "We have not discussed anything about him leaving,"
"I told him everyone starts with a clean slate and I have belief in his talent.
"He has not had an extended run in the side since he came and that is his frustration.
"Massimo has shown commitment and he has a point to prove, which is why the fans are with him."
