Palace slam rumoursCrystal Palace manager Peter Taylor has moved to end any rumours that there is unrest within his squad.
Rumours are suggesting that former favourites Clinton Morrison, Darren Ward and Marco Reich are unhappy about being left out of the starting team at the Palace.
Taylor said: "Clinton is not as fit as he would like to be and he has been first-class about it.
"I spoke to him on Monday and told him he would not start against Southend. In his own words, he has said he is not sharp enough.
"It is a close call between either Darren or Mark Hudson and in the end it was Hudson who got the call.
"I want to look at my team over a period of time — and that is just what I am doing."
Palace have won their first two matches as they look to push for promotion this season.
