Newcastle star pledges futureSpaniard Albert Luque has expressed his desire to stay at Newcastle and prove to the fans that he is worth the £9.5million the club paid for him last season.
Luque said: "I’ve always wanted to stay. Last season was unfortunate but I’m happy with the fans and the club.
"I feel much better, fitter stronger, everything. This season I want to show the fans why I’m here, to show them what kind of player I am.
"They haven’t seen me at 100 per cent or the Luque you saw before at Deportivo La Coruna."
