Newcastle lose another defenderNews that Titus Bramble needs a hernia operation has given Graeme Souness a serious defensive shortage at Newcastle United.
Bramble limped out of the FA Cup quarter-final win against Tottenham, joining Andy O'Brien and Steven Taylor, who have both picked up injuries.
Souness said: "Titus will need an operation now, it is a big blow because he has been outstanding for us,
"He's a young man, so if he heals quickly he could be back in four weeks. If slower then six weeks."
Souness added: "We lost young Taylor before the game, O'Brien before the game and then Titus - so we've lost three centre-halves."
Bramble had been in excellent form for Newcastle, who have won their last seven games.
