Milan chasing Viana

Newcastle United midfielder Hugo Viana could be about to end his frustrating spell at St James Park by making the switch to AC Milan with the Serie A champions willing to pay any asking price for the Magpies star.

Current on loan at Portugese club Sporting Lisbon, Viana could be sold at the end of the season for a reported fee of around £5 million with Milan chief Ariedo Braida desperate to see the move eventuate.
