Liverpool star: It felt fantastic

Liverpool new-boy Jermaine Pennant has revealed his excitement at making his Champions League debut for Liverpool.

When asked about his Champions League debut against Haifa Pennant said: "It felt fantastic pulling on the red shirt,"

"I played a couple of games in pre-season, but to actually play at Anfield, in an important game in the Champions League and to see the Kop, was magnificent.

"I don't think I could have asked for more."
