Leeds trial former United star

In a bid to win a contract at Elland Road, Northern Ireland international Keith Gillespie has joined Leeds United's pre-season training regime.

Leicester City released Gillespie at the end of last season and he had been given the chance of a pre-season trial with Crystal Palace.

The 30-year-old former Newcastle winger has decided to try and impress Leeds boss Kevin Blackwell.
