Juninho set to leaveCeltic manager Martin O’Neill has admitted midfielder Juninho has enquired about leaving the club in order to make a return home to Brazil following a frustrating period after his summer switch from Middlesbrough.
"Juninho came to see me to ask me about leaving,” O'Neill said.
He has said a number of clubs are interested in him and their league is starting up soon.
"He wants to end his career in Brazil anyway and he'd like to go now. So, if he feels that way, then what can you do? But there has been no contact whatsoever from any club.
"He just wants to play every single week and feels his chances might be limited in the long-term but, if he decided to stay, I'd be delighted. I would be sympathetic if he does want to leave."
