Jol stands by decisionTottenham manager Martin Jol thinks he was correct to allow Primera Liga poacher Fredi Kanoute to exit the club.
"Fredi is a very talented player - you can learn all the time and he's an example," said Jol.
"It's impossible to get him back because our philosophy is different. We would like to have younger players and develop them.
"He was 29, we had a very good price for him. You only have to look at his record over here with West Ham and Spurs.
"Before I was here, he scored maybe eight or nine or 10 goals."
