Henry thrilled with performanceBarcelona hot-shot Thierry Henry has talked of his happiness to have overtaken Michel Platini's 41 goal record for France following his brace against Lithuania.
Henry, 30, said: "It is a huge pleasure. I can't find the words, I'm overwhelmed,"
"It was a release - we absolutely needed that win. We had a lot of chances and we hit the posts.
"The boys told me what I achieved was great, but I did not want to make it personal.
"In fact the boys pushed me to celebrate the feat. So indeed, when I scored the first I was full of joy.
"Now we still have to get qualification, which is the aim we cannot forget."
