Hammers hero confirms transfer talkWest Ham united goal-hero Teddy Sheringham has confirmed that he did have an offer from Aston Villa over the summer but chose to stay on at Upton Park.
Sheringham, 40, said: "When I am not involved in the 16, I sometimes wonder if I should move on,"
"Aston Villa came in for me earlier in the season and I thought 'that would do for me.'
"I sometimes wonder why I am putting myself through all of this and then get disappointed in not being involved."
He added: "Things change so quickly. Just a few weeks later, I am involved in the team and scoring. I might sign another three-year contract with West Ham now!"
