Gunners star signs pre-contract?

According to the Daily Mail, Arsenal star Robert Pires has signed a pre-contract agreement with Villarreal.

The French winger wants the security of a longer deal than the one year that Arsene Wenger is prepared to offer him, and apparently signed a two-year deal with the spanish club shortly before Arsenal's win over Juventus
