Greening appeal refusedAn FA disciplinary commission has turned down Jonathan Greening's appeal against his red card for violent conduct against Aston Villa.
The West Brom midfielder, who was sent off alongside Villa’s Liam Ridgewell on Sunday, will now be sidelined for three games which West Brom assistant manager Nigel Pearson said was a massive blow.
Pearson said: "Emotions run high and I don't think there was any great intent to harm one another,
"It is disappointing to lose Jonathan for three games given his performances in possession have been excellent."
