Gerard wants new dealBarcelona star Gerard has revealed that he has plenty of offers on the table should the Catalans decide not to keep him but admits he is hopeful of a new deal at the Nou Camp.
He explained: "No one has called me from the club, at the moment I am not worried about my future but soon I will want to know what is going to happen, at least so as to know what I have to do,
"Rijkaard knows me best as he sees me on a day to day basis in training and I suppose that it will be he who will decide. I am totally confident that he counts on me as he has always shown this.
"I have not played as much as I would have liked but my conscience is clear because I have given everything and I have always been prepared to stand in the firing line.
"My dream is to finish the season with a title and a contract renewal but if it does not happen that way then, I am 26, and once before I have had to leave a club and football never stopped," Gerard concluded.
"I hope to stay but if not I have a lot of offers from Spain and abroad."
