Gerard choses MonacoBarcelona midfielder Gerard Lopez will sign with Monaco on Tuesday according to French daily L’Equipe.
Monaco will sign the Barca player on a free, as Gerard’s contract expires in 2005.
The report adds that the Championnat club coached by Deschamps offered Gerard a three year contract.
If the deal goes through it will be Barca’s first summer sale following the signings of Van Bommel and Ezquerro.
