Former Spurs favourite wary about returnFormer Tottenham Hotspur striker Frederic Kanoute has praised the ability of the club and voiced his concerns for his current employers Sevilla ahead of the UEFA Cup clash between the two sides.
Kanoute, 29, said: "I do not believe Sevilla are the favourites for the game even though we are the champions,"
"Spurs have a very good team. I know the club from my time as a player, and it is not possible to be confident about the two matches.
"I think we have the ability to win, but it will take a massive effort. It is necessary for us to go to London having had a good result at home and without having conceded.
"I believe it will be a round with many goals.
"With men like Defoe and Keane, they are dangerous. I don't know Berbatov all that well, but the reports say he is excellent. Tottenham have a dangerous attack and a strong defence."
He added: "Personally, I am happy with the draw and the chance to return to my former club, but I am not aiming for revenge. For me, football is a game and not a war."
