Former Blues flanker moves homeAustralian international Stan Lazaridis has agreed to return to Australia with Perth Glory.
"After 11 seasons in England, it was the right time to return home for me," Lazaridis told Perth Glory's official website.
"The experience of being part of the squad for the World Cup was the pinnacle of my sporting career, and I am very excited to be coming home at a time when the World Cup experience is so strong in the minds of West Australian sports fans.
"I received many offers from various clubs, but the desire to return home (to Perth) was the most important factor in my decision.
"Glory's rightful place is at the top of the A-League ladder, and football's place should be top of the mind for proud West Australian sports fans.
"I really want to make a big contribution to both those objectives over the coming years with Glory."
