Fergie: Best display of the seasonRed Devils boss Sir Alex Ferguson thinks the 4-1 victory over Blackburn Rovers on Saturday was the best display his Premiership leaders have had all season.
He said: "I think the performance was one of the best of the season.
"I think the players accepted the challenge of going 1-0 down to maybe the only shot they have had all game.
"The first half was really an end to end affair, maybe we should have been 2-0 or 3-0 up, but the one great thing we did show was the composure to not lose our heads, keep our nerve, and keep playing.
"By doing that we kept on making chances. The intensity of our game was absolutely fantastic and I also think on this occasion the support got us over the line. I thought they were absolutely fantastic."
