Cole reveals Jose furyEngland star Joe Cole has talked about the furious half time team talk Jose Mourinho gave his side at Old Trafford on the weekend.
Cole said: “We were disappointed to go in at half-time 1-0 down. Then we got a rollicking from the boss. It was the first time I have experienced it.
“But he’s a great manager. The way he reacted and got the boys up for it and really going at half-time was brilliant.”
“The performance from us in the second half showed our character.
“That response proved we’re good enough to go and win it again.”
When asked if he thought Chelsea had another gear he replied: “Of course there’s more in the tank from us as a team. We’ve been nowhere near as good as I know we can be.
“I know how much there is to come because I’ve played against Chelsea in the last few years when they have been brilliant.
“We haven’t hit our peak form or anywhere near it. But when we do, then watch out.
“United probably have been near their peak or at least up towards it so far.
“Now we’ve got a tough game at Bolton on Wednesday and if we can win that, hopefully Everton will get a result against United and we could be level on points at the top.”
