Chariman confident of landing PandianiChairman David Gold is confident that fans favorite Walter Pandiani will sign a permanent deal at Birmingham in the summer.
The 28-year-old Deportivo La Coruna striker has been on loan at St Andrews since January, scoring his first goal 12 minutes into his debut.
Birmingham are thought to be prepared to pay £3m for the Uruguayan, with Deportivo holding out for £4m.
However Gold said: "I don't think there'll be any problems. I'd say Pandiani will be playing for Birmingham next season."
He added: "If you look back at the history of Birmingham City under the stewardship of the Golds and David Sullivan, most deals get concluded.
"I cannot remember a deal that has collapsed. Even Craig Bellamy was not an issue of finance - it was more his desire to go to Celtic."
