Captain Kenny calls for calmBirmingham City skipper Kenny Cunningham believes patience rather than a "quick fix" is required to get the Blues up the Premiership table.
After Tuesday night's 3-0 home defeat by Middlesbrough he said: "We are very early into the season. There is no panic at this stage. We have to improve on Tuesday's performance. We are very much aware of that.
"It is a case of putting that behind us, looking at the game over the next couple of days, dissecting it, seeing what we can do better, eliminating those mistakes and hopefully moving on."
He added: "The quality is there in the squad. We are happy with the players we have in the club. There are no panic stations at this moment in time,
"But to lose the first two home games is a huge disappointment. If you are going to launch a successful campaign in the Premiership, it needs to be off the back of a successful home record and we've started very poorly.
"There is no quick fix. It is just a question of digging deep, rallying around each other and working hard on the training pitch and trying to turn it around.
"We can't allow that disappointment to linger around the training pitch too long.
"Everyone went home with their chins down but we will expect a determination to put things right at the weekend."
