Cafu happy to extend dealVeteran Brazilian full-back Cafu has talked of his excitement to have extended his contract with Champions League finalists AC Milan.
Cafu, 37, said: “It is always nice to know that a great club like Milan is counting on you,”
“We renewed the contract in a very relaxed manner, as we immediately reached an agreement without problems.
“I am incredibly happy to still be here along with this team and the Rossoneri colours for another year, so we can continue to make our mark in 2008. I always hoped the renewal would come and it did.”
“At the start of the year we evaluated all the options, but I was able to fix my personal problems. From then on I found a new driving force. To stay here another season is an enormous pleasure for me, I hope it will be a less troubled campaign than this one.”
