Boro to reject final pleaPremiership flop Massimo Maccarone looks set to have a plea for one more chance at Middlesbrough rejected by boss Steve McClaren.
The striker’s agent has asked the Boro chief to let his client return so he can prove he is worthy of his £8.15million price tag.
Agent Paulo Fabri said: “I would say to Steve ‘Give him a chance, it would be good business’.”
However, Boro would happily accept any offer of around £2m for Maccarone.
