Bolton snub worlds most expensive player

It has been revealed that Bolton Wanderers turned down the chance to sign Brazilian winger Denilson this summer.

Denilson, who was once the world's most expensive player, has been off-loaded by Real Betis to French side Bordeaux on loan.

It is thought that he was keen on a move to the Premier League.
