Barca pip Spurs to Van Bommel

PSV midfielder Mark van Bommel looks set to snub Spurs and join Barcelona according to Spurs boss Martin Jol.

The 27-year-old's contract with PSV expires at the end of the season and he will be available on a Bosman deal.

Jol said: "Van Bommel from what I know is going to Barcelona. Frank Rijkaard is coach there and if he is staying, he will go to Barcelona, I'm sure.”
