Baggies star wants to stayWest Brom goalkeeper Chris Kirkland has revealed that he would be happy to sign for the Baggies on a permanent basis after admitting his days at Liverpool look numbered.
Kirkland accepts he has Jose Reina, Scott Carson and Jerzy Dudek ahead of him in the pecking order at Anfield.
He told PA Sport: "Would I like to stay on a more permanent basis? I can't see why not. It is up to West Brom and the gaffer but I enjoy it here.
"It will be interesting to see what happens at the end of the season because it looks as though my future won't be at Liverpool.
"I've got to try to give myself as many options as I can at the end of the season and if West Brom are one of them, then great.
"If the clubs can agree a fee I can't see any reason for not stopping if the club wants me. Hopefully they do. But a lot of things can change. I'm here for another six months.
"At the end of the season I'm back to being a Liverpool player but, as things stand, it probably looks like I'll be moving on at the end of the season and it's a mutual feeling from Liverpool as well.
"We'll see what happens at the end of the season. I've just got to play as well as I can for West Brom and see what options are available to me at the end of the season.
"I've not spoken to anyone at Liverpool. But I'm not stupid. Rafael Benitez has brought Reina in and he is his number one goalkeeper. He's got Dudek and Carson there as well so I think I'd be a fool to think I can go back there.
"But you never know. I'm not ruling anything out. I'm just hoping to play well and we will see what happens at the end of the season but I am enjoying it at Albion."
