Allardyce rues player decision

Bolton manager Sam Allardyce has revealed his disappointment at failing to secure the services of Argentinean captain Juan Pablo Sorin.

"We were disappointed missing out on the signing of Juan Pablo Sorin," Allardyce told the club's official website.

"He had a look around the club and it is a great shame that we failed to acquire such a fantastic player who has played in the World Cup."
