Allardyce admits concern
Bolton manager Sam Allardyce has admitted that he was worried about the lack of goals from new signing Nicolas Anelka before he fired a fantastic double against Arsenal.
He said: "I was concerned and so was he. He was getting into good positions and looking to pass rather than shoot.
"But when the old club comes around generally it is a good opportunity for them to score.
"You have seen it so many times and it has been one of those days.
"He has shown that little bit extra against his old club, wanting to show how good he still is.
"Nicolas certainly proved that, especially with his finishing. We got the goals we needed and that took us to a really good victory."
