Kewell eager to show BenitezFit-again Aussie star Harry Kewell says he is keen to repay Liverpool manager Rafa Benitez with his performances on the pitch this season.
Kewell told the Daily Star: "I'll be giving it my all, fighting for a new deal."
"I really owe the manager, Rafa Benitez. He's been a massive fan of mine and I want to repay the faith he's shown in me."
He added: "It's been a difficult time for me with all the injuries. The fans have been frustrated with me and I've been just as frustrated with myself.
"I am feeling good now, totally recovered and I'm planning a big season.
"I'd like to be with a great club like Liverpool as long as I can. If I get my wish great, but you can't put all your eggs in one basket."
